Healthy Food for people suffering from Arthritis and Joint Pain


People suffering from arthritis undergo a lot of pain and inflammation.   There is  no precise diet that can overcome this problem but there are a few foods that you can eat to reduce inflammation of your body. Omega 3 fatty acids help to avoid inflammation of your body, fish oils that contain omega 3 fatty acids also helps in joint stiffness.  Fishes such as   mackerel, salmon contain high amount of vitamin D - Walnuts, oysters; flaxseeds are rich in omega 3 fatty acids. 

If you are obese and wish to reduce weight to control joint pain and arthritis, then you should include olive oil as an important ingredient in your everyday mail as it helps reduce inflammation.  Ginger contains anti inflammatory ingredients and is said to be quite helpful to control arthritis to a great extent.   Try to eat two or three slices of ginger on a daily basis.

You should eat food items that are good sources of anthocyanidins and Vitamin C like blackberries, strawberries, grapes, cherries, oranges, kidney beans, pineapples, mangoes on a daily basis as they can help control arthritis to a large extent.
