Foods to relieve joint pain


When you eat the right kind of foods, then you can stop joint and arthritic pain.  Citrus fruits like oranges, limes, grapefruits, and lemons contain Vitamin C and is known to help people suffering from arthritis and joint pain.  Avoid sugar as too much sugar causes inflammation and have a glass of water with lime or lemon in the morning which is good for the joints and will also keep you refreshed and energetic the whole day.

Foods that are rich in bioflavonoid like apples, berries and cherries, benefits the joints as it helps flush out toxins from the joints. Vegetables such as broccoli, spinach, and kale are also good for joint pain. You can prepare them by cooking with lots of onions and parsley as they are beneficial with alleviating pain in the joints.  Do not overcook your foods; always boil them in as little water as possible as the nutrients need to be maintained.

Use olive oil and grape seed oil that contain Alpha-linolenic acids is known to soothe joint pains and contain anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.  Omega 3 supplement such as fish oil or flaxseed oil can also be taken.
