Arthritis is an inflammation of one or more joints and this
inflamed condition of the joints is mostly seen in the elderly people and
affects many people worldwide. Arthritis
causes pain and swelling, and limit movement in joints and connective tissue. There
are many types of Arthritis but the most common types of arthritis are Osteoarthritis,
Rheumatoid arthritis and Gout.
The various symptoms of arthritis are Joint pain, restriction
of movement, swelling of joints and stiffness of the joints. The common causes
of arthritis are aging, obesity, hormonal changes, nutrients deficiencies,
excessive acid in the body and hereditary factors.
There are many natural
ways to overcome the problem of Arthritis and joint pain; one can apply hot
packs and ice packs for 10 minutes which relieves joint pain. Having warm water with a half teaspoon of
turmeric powder can overcome arthritis.
Also taking two teaspoons of lemon juice and a teaspoon of honey in warm
water twice daily and even drinking radish juice with a little sugar added is beneficial
for arthritis. Taking warm baths is very useful for the joint pains; you can
even massage the affected area with oil and it will provide relief from the
pain. Diets plays an important role and
hence avoid sour fruits, fried foods, meat and eating rice for dinner should be
avoided. Take fruits like bananas and
carrot juice as it provided strength to the joints and ligaments.
